Albergue Ecologico El Beso is an albergue for pilgrims that are walking to Santiago de Compostela.

LOCATION: km 128 on the Camino de Santiago, direction San Xil when leaving Triacastela, after about 2km.

SLEEPING 10 euros per person per night. There are 16 beds in one dormitory, all wooden bunk beds, 2 toilets and 2 showers, 1 washbasin.

COMMUNAL DINNER 11 euros. We serve the dinner at 19.00 hours. One menu, which is completely vegetarian and certified organic, including soup with bread, main dish with normally rice, vegetables, cheese, egg, humus, a cake for dessert, and wine and water. Possibilities for vegan menu.

BREAKFAST 4 euros. From 6.00 or 6.30 onwards we serve a breakfast. Two options. Yoghurt with fruit and cereals, or toast with bread and butter. Both come with a coffee or tea.

BAR service for food and drinks. The bar serves organic food and drinks. Beer, wine, coffee, tea, snacks, bread, juices, etc. BAR as well open for passing pilgrims.

WASHING MACHINE 4 euros, also facility for washing clothes by hand. There’s no dryer, but ample space for hanging your wet clothes.

OPENING HOURS 6.00 – 6.30 till 22.00 hrs.Early departure is always possible, but communal area and bar open as per opening hours.

The albergue is an association that promotes an organic and sustainable lifestyle on the Camino the Santiago. It is located on km 128 on the Camino Frances, just after Triacastela, Galicia, Spain.
The association works with volunteers that normally stay for 1 month at the albergue and take care of the pilgrims.

All the food and drinks are certified organic and vegetarian.

The albergue is an old galician house that has been restored by the members of the association, following the guidelines of green construction (bio-construction).

There is a forest and vegetable garden that are certified organic and maintained by the volunteers and members of the association.
